We miss Fiona!

Our middle child is gone this week. Fiona is staying with "Wammy" Julie this week. I can not explain how we miss her! She keeps things hopping here. Not that everyone else here does not, but it is just that Fiona is a RIOT! Here are a few little tidbits from her repertoire....
I was speaking to Jonah and Lydia about the seriousness of lying and how it makes God sad, Fiona in all honesty and with a straight face, looks at them and says "But no one is a better liar than me" (True!)
We all went on the Log Ride at Adventureland. We all got soaked. Fiona's jeans had that wet spot between her legs that looked like she had wet her pants. We all kinda had that, but she was doing the bow-legged walk. Ben asked her if she had fun, and if she had an accident. Fiona looks at him and says "Oh... just a little!"
We were at my Mom's over the Memorial Day weekend. Joy's boyfriend had accidently bumped her in the eye, and Joy had been talking about it with us.(it was funny, not bad) Fiona was listening the whole time, and asked Joy where she had been hit. Joy said "Well in the eye Fiona" Fiona's response was "Noo, WHERE did you get hit, like at Mc Dondalds or where?" What have I exposed my child to? Getting hit at McDonalds...
Fiona was singing one of our favorite John Denver songs the other day. "Annie's Song" Great song. The first words of the song are "You fill up my senses, like a night in the forest" Fiona is coloring and singing "You fill up my sensors" That is all I heard because I was laughing to hard through the rest of it.
With Fiona being gone, we all miss her. Ben especially. Ben was talking to her on the phone the other day. He had her sing him a song. She sang him 3 different renditions of "Where is Thumpkin" Ben then asked her to Pinky Promise that she would come home soon. Fiona loves to Pinky Promise. She told him that she did Pinky Promise, but that her pinky would not fit through the phone.
This is just a slice of our life with our beloved Fiona. We miss her terribly. She is sweet. Grandma is having a riot with her.
