Big Day

Well, three years ago today, the Lord blessed us with another daughter. Ruby May Berberich was born on May Day 2004. Thus the middle name May. (Ben's idea) We have had a great day. Ruby got up this AM to Jonah singing Happy Birthday to her. Once Jonah, Lydia, and Fiona were on the bus, Ruby got to work with her Daddy while Mommy and Lily went shopping. When I go home, she was still "working" away with Ben, as thrilled as can be, chatting his ear off. She is a chatter box.
She recieved 7 phone calls, and by the evening she was saying "is that my phone?"
Becca came over today to see her and the kids. She brought presents. Fiona and Ruby are thrilled with the Veggie Tale castle. Thanks "Gecca"!
The Armstrongs came over after school. Connor would not offer Ruby a Birthday kiss. Bummer Rubster!
Grandma Julie and Aunt Joy came over for supper with cake and Ice cream with strawberries. Yummy!
It was a great day for Ruby. She got a bike with a basket, and some new shirts from Mom and Dad.
What a wonderful way to reflect on the mercies of our Savior. He has given His child Ruby to Ben and I. What a gift she is! She makes us laugh, she makes us cry, she brings such an element to our family. Praise Him for sweet Ruby May. I wish all of you could know her and see what a riot she is. She cracks us up!
