On a side note.....

September is Childhood Cancer awareness month, as well as Ovarian Cancer awareness month. How come no one knows this unless you have a loved one who has had one of these cancers? How come nearly EVERYONE knows that October is Breast Cancer awareness month, and that stores make all things pink and the proceeds from all the pink stuff goes to breast cancer research?  I am aware that breast cancer is a killer too.  I am aware that breast cancer affects many women.  I am aware that many notable people have had breast cancer.  I am also aware that there are many breast cancer survivors.  Just a thought.  Did you know that September was awareness for Ovarian and Childhood cancers?  Were you aware that the color for Ovarian cancer is teal, and for Childhood Cancer it is gold?  Just some information.
