Must Blog... It's been awhile.

Yes, I am here... busy, but here! Things have been happening. We are in crazy busy mode. We are anxiously waiting for Grandma and Grandpa to get home from Florida. They are on a 2 week trip. Funny, it feels like it has been a month since the wedding. But no! It was like 10 days ago!

So I will update you in the long version. My last post was short of details.
We handled the wedding well. The kids were great, and everything was very sweet. Mom was fairly laid back about everything, which with so many kids involved, was really nice. My kids did such a good job. They all looked so nice, and they were very well behaved. They all walked down the aisle, and they all stood up on the stage so nicely. They were not up there very long, but long enough the orneryness could have occurred.

The only thing that happened was that while Mom and Eddie were exchanging their rings, Ruby wondered up to the stage, tugged on Mom's dress to check out what was going on. Mom loved it! She told me that it just made the day more special. Ruby then decided to pick up all of the petals at the front of the church. Also very sweet.

We had a great meal after the ceremony, and we went back to Mom's for naps and such. That evening, all of Eddie's kids came over to Mom's and we ate the leftovers. Lots of leftovers. We had 2 sheet cakes and a whole 3 tier cake. At the rehersal, they only ate the sheet cakes. AHHH! We had to take all 3 tiers home with us! It was good, but lots of cake!

We have enjoyed emails from Mom and Eddie, and their adventures. They are having a great time.

Continue to pray that we all adjust to the changes at Mom's house. Having Eddie there will be wonderful, but still weird! We look forward to getting to know his family better too!

This last weekend, we had a camp presentation at Harmony. I love being at my church home. It is so nice to see all of my old friends. I enjoyed it so much! So great to re-connect with them.

Camp things are going good. Ben is a little behind this spring, because of the massive snow clean-up. It put a damper on all winter projects. Even when we were not having so much snow, we still could not get to the cabins, or the barn, to do the repairs there. So, some things will have to be put off until fall. We did buy a very old dump truck this spring for the camp. Ben as been working on repairing it, and has done a great job with it! He is so handy. We are getting our Camp store set up, and Tyson ordered hoodies today. They are really cool! We also have online registration this year. If anyone is interested, we also have another weekend retreat on the calendar this year. Our first one is in July, and the second one is over Labor Day. Plus we still have the week long family camp.
Check out the website. I

I should sign off now, Ben is patiently waiting his turn for the Mac.
Take care!
Sarah
